I’m just a mum, one of far too many, all sitting in a brightly lit children’s play area secluded in the corner of the hospital.
I’m just a mum, no prior training and no formal qualifications, past experience includes older children; but we never came here before and this is foreign territory.
BB glides through her pre op assessment, not shedding a tear as they gently remove some of her blood whilst I struggle to keep myself in check.
I’m just a mum trying to learn how to cope raising a child with different needs; she is just a toddler who sparkles as she simply gets on with it.
I’m just a mum; she makes me want to be a better one.

you don’t need to be a better mummy, she doesn’t expect more of you so you shouldn’t expect more of yourself – i bet that she loves you just as you are. you are enough! love her and cuddle her – that’s all that she wants.
has she had her op yet? hope that it all goes well and that the 13 weeks will fly past – she will quickly adapt and teach you what life is like with a stookie.
thanks for contributing the the love all blogs showcase this week
take care
